Elective Modules and Specialisation Modules

During the first year 6 EC can filled with courses of your own choice and interest. These Elective Modules can be chosen from the list of Elective Modules and Specialisation Modules that are approved by the Board of Examiners.
Participation in courses from other faculties or universities is also possible. However, the choice of these courses has to be approved by the Board of Examiners before start of the course.

During the second year you can choose Specialisation Modules  with a total of 12 EC. The choice of Specialisation modules depends on your choice of specialisation and the topic of your thesis research project. Therefore, the choice of specialisation modules has to be approved by the first supervisor of the thesis research project and by the Board of Examiners.
